Politics and Posing: Why the Economy isn’t anyone’s fault, and is everyone’s fault.

"This Job sucks."

Happy Labor day!  Whatever.  There is a bunch of people unemployed, people can’t find work, no one is hiring, banks ain’t lending, blah, blah, blah.  What can we do to make things better?  Stimulas Spending.  People hate it, but the people that hate it probably have a job.  Thus, President Obama is masking Stimulas Spending by calling it Infrastructure spending.  We need it, it will put people to work, and will make this country better.  And, of course, people hate the idea.

Even if lawmakers could pass a bill in the short window between their return to Capitol Hill in mid-September and the elections, it’s unlikely the spending would give the economy a significant boost by the time voters head to the polls. The goals of the infrastructure plan include: rebuilding 150,000 miles of roads; constructing and maintaining 4,000 miles of railways, enough to go coast-to-coast; and rehabilitating or reconstructing 150 miles of airport runways, while also installing a new air navigation system designed to reduce travel times and delays.

There is a reason why the unemployment rate is so high and people can’t find jobs.  Hang on.  Let me put this in all caps so you can see how important this is.  CAPITALISM DOES NOT WORK.  I’m not the only one saying that.  This guy has a butt-ton of money and he says the exact same thing.  “Capitalism has done a great job for the people that are well off.”

We are running out of crap to make and there is no demand for the crap that is already made.  I’m not a socialist.  I’m a realist.  Capitalism is an unsustainable system that destroys everything it touches.  We should spend less times with bandages, stimulas spending, tax breaks, and more time reinventing the wheel. This is going to get worse.  The more crap we make, the smaller the world gets, the less we have to sell and the less we need, the more we’ll make crap and try to sell it but can’t because we don’t need it.  But, I mean, whatever.  Blame Obama for the horrible Economy.  It is a lot easier. Happy Labor day!
