So, we haven’t really gotten use to the idea that we have a president that acts like he has some common sense. I mean, we know how the last guy acted. Two Wars. The economy tanked. We tortured people. I think we even promised to go to Mars. Well, I don’t mind the Mars bit. Anyway, President Obama shook hands with this guy, Hugo Chavez. He is the King of Venezuela. You know where that is? I’m not sure either. I think its in Europe or Africa somewhere. But it, apparently, shaking the guy’s is a huge big deal. A senator says so. And we all know about how smart those senators are! Wait, I’m confused senators with goldfish. My fault. From CNN:
Sen. John Ensign, R-Nevada, told CNN Sunday it was “irresponsible” for President Obama to have been seen “laughing and joking” with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez at the Summit of the Americas on Friday.
“This is a person who is one of the most anti-American leaders in the entire world,” Ensign told CNN’s John King on State of The Union. “He is a brutal dictator and human rights violations are very, very prevalent in Venezuela. And you have to be careful. When you’re talking about the prestige of the United States and the presidency of the United States, you have to be careful who you’re seen joking around with,” he also said.
He is absolutely right. You can’t have the President of the World laughing with some brown guy. Next thing you know, Obama is going to rip up the White House lawn and put in a miniature golf course. Don’t black people like minature golf? No, wait. Dice. Black people play dice! I keep forgetting. Jeez, Obama. For heaven’s sake, don’t laugh. We can’t handle stuff like that. You being all nice. What is your problem?
